Keeping Up With Your Career

Saturday, May 23rd, 2009

Career coaching isn’t meant to be an “every once in a while” thing. You need to be constantly be checking in with your coach and meeting with them. Think how a sports team would react if they only checked in with their coach every once in a while? For example, what if Bill Belichick met with the Patriots at the beginning of the season, then didn’t talk to them until right before the play-offs started? Not very effective right? That’s how you need to treat your career coaching. It should be a regular meeting at least a few times a month, and if you can’t meet in person check-in via e-mail or through a phone call.

Energy Of Red Algae

Thursday, May 21st, 2009

It is extremely powerful, and it is because the algae are a very “dense” fuel. What is meant by that is it has a lot of energy for its volume, whereas something like wind power needs giant windmills to generate anything. Oil is very dense, and we are yet to find something that works as well, but this red algae is coming along. It is completely sustainable and does not emit any greenhouse gases, but it is a little bit hard to make still. Once it overcomes that problem, it will change the energy world as we know it.
